many thanks for beeing honest, I just find that the picture looks as if there were at least 2 layers ... 1. the lady incl. the leaves in front 2. the background so to me three-dimensional or kind of waxworks.
I thought you had croped the front (lady & leaves) and that you unsharpened and afterworked the background separately. sorry when I'm wrong!!!
it just looks completely different to the effect of a common lense nowadays
I remenber of postcards in the 70's which had a similar style. they also had about two layers so I thought you made something like that.
